3D Quaternary cover thickness mapping
EM mapping with our multi-depth DualEM 421 is perfectly suited for very shallow targets showing resistivity / conductivity contrasts. 5ha of crops were investigated in one day with parallel profiles each 5m leading to the production of a 3D conductivity cube.
Existing trenches have allowed for an accurate definition of geological units. The top of Tertiary sediments have been clearly identified and mapped below several meters of Quaternary glacial cover.
